 Anagram1Anagram 1

In this verbal task the user is presented with a 'jumbled' word of from 3 to 10 letters. The semantic category from which the word has been chosen is given to provide a focus. In this version of Anagrams the computer only accepts correct key presses, so the main performance indicator is the number of letters input before solution. The program provides automatic adjustment of difficulty based on performance and supports keyboard, mouse and concept keyboard input.

 hangmanHangMan

A computer version of the classic paper and pen word finding game. In this game you have to guess a word that the computer has chosen. All of the words come from a small number of semantic categories (like items of clothing or parts of the body). The category of word that you are looking for is displayed on screen. The way in which you guess the word is to enter a letter that you think is in the word. Every time you enter a letter it will be greyed out from an 'alphabet' which is printed half way down the left side of the screen so that you can see which letters you have already guessed.
If the letter is in the word it will replace one or more of the dashes at the top of the screen. The number of dashes tells you how many letters there are in the word.
If the letter is not in the word, another piece of the hangman will be drawn. If all the man is drawn and you still have not guessed the word, he will be then be hung!!!!!
