  WordHunt

This is a verbal task requiring the user to form as many 2,3,4 and 5 letter words from a seed word as is possible. The task runs under selectable time constraints. At the end of the elapsed time all of the possible words are shown. Supports keyboard, mouse and concept keyboard input.

  QCount

This is a visual attention and apperception task in which the computer will display a number of shapes on the screen for a short period of time. These shapes are optionally lines, circles or squares. The task is merely to look at these shapes and count the number that are displayed. At the end of this short period of time the shapes will vanish and the user is asked to enter the number of shapes displayed. There are 9 levels of difficulty (display time) and the program supports keyboard, mouse and concept keyboard input.

  QwikSum
An exercise in rapid mental addition requiring the user to sum the numeric information on 4 cards. The cards contain either a number (1 to 4) or a small set of symbols. The cards are presented for a variable period of time. The task is to add the numbers or number of items on the 4 cards and respond with a mouse click on the correct number.

   Stroop_A

A computer version of the Stroop test for concentration and mental flexibility in which the user is presented with a random series of 4 colour names displayed in one of the four colours. The task is to identify the colour of 'ink' and respond differentially as rapidly as possible.

To change the pattern on the screen the user need only 'Click' - by pressing the left mouse button - SELECT - over the window. If any key is pressed, the program will either speak a word or produce a sound of some sort.

  Tracker

This is a simple 'tracking' type of sensorimotor exercise that is quite good fun while providing a framework to work on visuo-motor coordination and speed of response. The goal of the exercise is to guide the pointer over the 'track' - trying to both miss bumping into the walls and hitting the bonus balls. Automatic adjustment of difficulty based on performance.
